RISE Trainer Spotlight: Nate

Wellness // September 2025 RISE Trainer Spotlight: Nate
Yoga Teacher. Strength & Conditioning Expert. Infectious Personality. Nate brings energy to every class while encouraging you to stay consistent and push yourself. We caught up with Nate, chatting all things self care, routine and the importance of showing up.

What drew you to RISE?

Word of mouth. I had to see it for myself — and once I did, I knew I needed to be part of the team.

What is your training specialty?

A little bit of everything! From group classes to personal training, across both studios — strength, cardio, HIIT, pure strength, yoga, stretch and release, meditation. Not sure I can pick a specialty… maybe all of them. :)

What’s in your gym bag?

Water bottle, protein shaker, spare clothes, deodorant, perfume, protein bars, AirPods, lip balm, Clear Eyes… and, from time to time, a few loose almonds.

How do you take care of yourself physically and mentally?

Training on my own or with my wife and friends, hitting the gym, riding my bike, rock climbing, and blowing off steam at social events, dinners, drinks, or a good boogie session. I also like to have something to look forward to — a holiday, weekend away, or special event.

What app on your phone would you recommend for wellness?

Spotify. Put it on, then put the phone away. Detach and get it done!

What’s the last thing you do before you go to sleep?

Give Abby a cuddle and put on my audiobook.

What’s one piece of advice you regularly share with your clients and the RISE community?

Show up. Showing up is the hardest part. It’s all about consistency and having fun. The key is finding something you actually enjoy doing.
