What drew you to RISE?
I was drawn to RISE because it blends high-quality coaching with a community who are all here for the same reason. As a physiotherapist, I value environments where people feel safe, guided, and empowered to move well at any level of experience - RISE reflects that perfectly.
What is your training specialty?
I come from an Exercise Science background, and my training style blends strength and conditioning with Pilates to prioritise movement quality, control, and physio-based principles. I especially love working with people returning from pain or injury and helping them rebuild confidence through smart, progressive training.
What’s in your gym bag?
A big water bottle, electrolytes, some form of protein, sound-proof headphones and a spare hair tie.
How do you take care of yourself physically and mentally?
I prioritise breathwork, a consistent sleep schedule, morning sunlight, and protein in every meal. Physically, I let my body guide what movement I need each day—whether that’s strength training, Pilates, hot yoga/Pilates, or cardio. I follow the same principles I teach: move consistently and listen to your body. I also (try) to get 10,000 steps in every day.
What app on your phone would you recommend for wellness?
I use my Garmin app to track my wellness. It keeps tabs on my activity, sleep, heart rate, nutrition, and Body Battery, so I can see how my energy levels are each day and plan my workouts and recovery accordingly.
What’s the last thing you do before you go to sleep?
I (try) to read for 30-60 mins before bed, without the distraction of screens around to ensure I am in good sleep patterns and cycles.
What’s one piece of advice you are regularly giving your clients and the RISE community?
My go-to advice is to listen to your body and focus on mindful movement. Building awareness through the mind–muscle connection helps you train smarter, move more confidently, and feel connected to your body.
