What drew you to RISE?
The incredible facilities, for one- but also the energy of the space. There’s something powerful about seeing people of all ages, industries and backgrounds moving together, side by side. That sense of community really stood out to me.
What is your training specialty?
I specialise in Pilates and Osteopathy- two practices that complement each other beautifully. It means I bring both a movement and a clinical lens to every class.
What’s in your Pilates bag?
Always: grip socks, a sweat towel, a water bottle, and lip balm. Essentials only.
How do you take care of yourself physically and mentally?
For me, it’s all about scheduling regular movement. Whether it’s a Pilates session, a ballet class, or just a walk with a friend- staying active helps me regulate stress and lift my mood. I also make a conscious effort to stick to a sleep schedule, which makes those early starts much easier to handle.
What app do you recommend for wellness?
I use the FitBit app to keep track of my sleep and daily steps. It helps me stay accountable and check in with my goals. Nothing fancy, just consistent habits.
What’s the last thing you do before sleep?
I put on an episode of the podcast “Nothing Much Happens.” Each one is a soft, calming bedtime story- perfect for quieting the mind and easing into sleep.
One piece of advice you give to clients and the RISE community?
I often say: “Show up, and the hard part is done.” Whether you’re trying something new or just braving the cold for an early class, the biggest hurdle is getting there. Once you’re in the room and moving, you’ll always feel better for it.
