Women of 101 Collins

People // March 2022 Women of 101 Collins
The Women Who Have Shaped 101 Collins Street

People are at the heart of all that we do at 101 Collins, and so this International Women’s Day, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the amazing women that work directly in the 101 Collins team, and the diverse range of skills and experience they possess. With almost 75 years of collective experience at 101, there are some amazing achievements in the team, and a lifetime of lessons to be learned.

Senior Accountant

What is your proudest professional achievement?
Being adaptable. I was originally employed as a member of the development team and then following the project completion, I was offered a role with the management team. There has certainly been significant change within my 33 years at 101 Collins, but that is what makes it interesting, and being able to adapt has been absolutely essential.

What is the most important piece of advice you’ve been given?
Never double-check - check it once and check it thoroughly.

The highlights for me have always been the calibre of people I have positioned myself to learn from. I believe strongly in taking onboard as much as you can from the people around you. With the impressive upcoming projects at 101, I know the next few years are going to be a time of growth and opportunity for me which I’m excited about.

What is the most important piece of advice you’ve been given?
Knowing why you are doing something is the important part. You’ll figure out the ‘how’.
